Finally we had a really nice day for shooting, had a wonderful group of shooters and I think everyone had some fun. The course was well set, with some real sneaky birds and some distance, plus more crossing birds. Had some sets that looked like they were rising but they really weren't or were they? Some just seemed to be floating out there, then you pull the trigger and it just keeps floating...and floating... awwwww...*&^%! More than few people were shaking their heads and muttering!

In the moring, Mr. McNally had the hot gun, posting a great score of 77 to take top honors, Gary Smith and Dick Aldrich were right on his heels, nice shooting guys! Adam Brust was smokin' em in D class, expect that young man to soon be in a higher class, lookout uppperclasses he is coming on strong.

Thank you to Pete Johnson, Kim Henderson and John Brooker for all their hard work and help in setting the course, lunch, keeping the machines full, opening and closing the course. Those fellows are worth their weight in gold and we could not do it without them.

Next shoot will be July 9th, that will be the last competition shoot for the year, at least at this time. In August we will be having the DU shoot and fund raiser, keep tuned for details on that one, it is always a really fun one and lots of good prizes and awards, plus some really neat shooting games.
