WOW! What a wonderful day for a 5 stand Shoot! We had a great turnout for the 2nd shoot of the year and everyone seemed to have their trigger fingers in good working order. The morning event got started off and Mr. Wimpenny was just smokin' the birds, taking the North course clean and he never looked back, Nice shooting Bob! The other shooters were not too far behind, making some of the top shooters sweat a little.

The afternoon event was a little smaller, as the nice weather mandated that some other things need done but those shooters that were able to shoot were still nice and warm and played havoc with the courses, Mr. Bohannon was on fire on the north course, taking it clean and showing the rest of us that it could be done. The west course was a little trickier, but Bohannon, Henderson and Meyer all shot the event well, tallying a score of 43.

All ties were decided by score on North Station 2 and if needed West Station 4. All ties were broke on North Station 2 with Meyer edging out Nickson 5 to 4 for A1 in the AM event. In the afternoon Event, Bohannon edged out Henderson 5 to 4 to take the Hunter Class Champion, and Johnson edging out Brooker 5 to 4 to take D1.

Thank you to all the shooters, we had some ladies shooting with us, I hope they enjoyed the shoot, sure was nice to see everyone and I hope that you can make it back up to shoot with us again. We will be setting up the Sporting Clays course, the first Sporting clays shoot is scheduled for Saturday, April 2nd.

Thanks again to everyone for helping score, pull and just whatever needed doing, it got done.

Robert Meyer
