The weather was the main factor for this entire shoot. The wind and the temperatures affected the targets and the shooters, but thats why we love this game! Had a real nice group of shooters and they were ready to have some fun and bust some clays. The birds were being pushed around by the wind and there were some tough targets, not much room for error.

Had a fairly nice mix of birds, some nice incomers and overheads that were real nice, then on a few stations between the wind and the "Tony" and "Kim" factor, well lets just say there were more than few derogatory remarks made about some lineage questions! But, true to form, the shooters shook it off, had a laugh and stayed with it. Chris Boger warmed right up and stayed on 'em all morning long, posting the morning event Hi-score of 73 for Event Champion, nice shooting Chris!

Lunch of Hamburgers, Hotdog and all the fixin's, tallied up the scores and punches, purse payouts and the afternoon event was shot. The course had a good change up and the "Tony" and "Kim" factor applied once again, as did some new remarks, but the shooters got the hang of it and busted some more clays. Bob Wimpenny finally woke up and posted the Champion score of 78, nice shooting Bob.

Thanks to the hard work of Tony Henman, Kim Henderson, Frank and Cheryl Downs and all the others, the whole shoot came off very well, we couldnt have done it without them.

The next Competition shoot will be June 12th, hope to see you all again! and thanks to all of you for supporting the club and our sport, keep shooting!
